FPS Calculator

How many FPS will I get? Calculate the frame rate your parts will reach in a specific game. The model is anchored to the publisher's own recommended specification, so it moves with the real requirements rather than a generic curve.

Optional, but it sets the frame-rate ceiling.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is this?

It is a model, not a measurement. We anchor on the publisher's recommended spec — a system that exactly meets it should reach roughly 60 FPS at 1080p on high — then scale by your hardware, the resolution and the preset. Expect a band, not a precise number.

Why does 4K cost so much?

It renders roughly four times the pixels of 1080p. In GPU-bound games that typically costs 55–65% of your frame rate, which is why upscaling matters most there.

Does the processor affect frame rate?

It sets a ceiling the graphics card cannot exceed, and that ceiling barely moves with resolution — so a weak processor shows up hardest at 1080p. Check yours with the bottleneck calculator.
